If your smartphone is lost or stolen then how can you track it and get to the location. Don't worry you don't have to go to police. I will tell you that how will you track your phone by just sitting at your home.


If your smartphone was a android phone just type android device manager on your other device's browser and click on the first website "Android Find My Device - Google" and enter your IMEI number. IMEI number is a 15 digit number that helps people to track devices. If you don't know your IMEI number just check the bill of the phone. You can ring your phone even if your phone is in silent so that if your mobile is lost then you can find it by going there and ringing the phone. But you can track only if your phone is on and is in a network area. You can also send a message to the phone which will be displayed on the lock screen. It can be useful as if some good guy gets this phone he can contact you with that message. You can also put password on your phone for security and can also erase all the data.


If your smartphone was an IOS phone and if you have backuped the phone in iTunes then go to iTunes and go to devices preferences tab then you can see all the apple devices that you have backuped. From there you can also get your IMEI number and Apple ID. Now go to iCloud and enter your Apple ID and find your mobile.
