You have always been in a confusion whenever you are going to buy a computer is that, should we buy desktop or laptop. Only you are not confused with this but almost everyone is confused that which one is made for them. But today, I am going to end your confusion by explaining you which one is better for you so let's start.


There are many advantages and disadvantages of a desktop and many advantages and disadvantages of laptop so first I am going to tell you why should you buy a desktop and why should you buy a laptop.


WHY SHOULD YOU BUY A DESKTOP


Performance

Desktop are known for their performance. Desktop are much powerful than laptop because Desktop parts are kept in a big cabinet. Even the parts of desktop are bigger than those of laptop's.


Cheap

Desktops are cheaper than laptops as the parts of laptop are adjusted and is made small. So the companies take extra cost because of their extra investment while making the laptop small and portable.


Upgrade

Suppose you have 4GB RAM on your desktop and you want to upgrade it to 8GB. So to upgrade yo just have to open the shutter take out the old RAM and insert the new RAM. It's very simple.


Cooling

You can add many fans in your desktop like 3,4,8 even 16 to cool your PC parts but in laptops extra  fans can't be added. You already get one or two fans in your laptop to cool the laptop and sometimes the laptop gain extreme heat.


WHY SHOULD YOU BUY A LAPTOP


Portability

The main reason that makes laptop different from desktop is portability. You can work at any corner of your house and take it to your friend's house to show him your laptop.


Space

Laptops occupy very less place as compared to desktop. So if your house has no space to keep a desktop then you can check for laptops.


Power

The power consumption in laptops is very less as compared to desktops. Gaming laptops consume a power of about 150 watt whereas gaming desktops consume a power of about 500 watt.


PC Building

In laptops, you don't have to build it. You get the laptop that is already built. But you talk about desktops you have to build the PC and it's a waste of time.


Now, if you are a gamer or video editor then you should go with performance or desktop. And if you are a college student or a office worker then you should go with laptop.
